Fusilli Pasta

What food should I eat to help me lose weight and become healthier?
I’m currently working out at the gym daily, but the problem is I have no idea what I should be eating alongside workouts in order to get the best results.
As of late, all I tend to eat is a plate of fusilli Pasta about an hour before I go to the gym, and later in the day a dinner consisting of 2 cod fillets and half a tin of baked beans.
The problem is, I have several people telling me it’s a good diet, and several others telling me it isn’t. All I seem to get are mixed messages, and it’s become extremely irritating.
Am I ok with what I’m eating at the moment? If not, are there any foods that will DEFINATELY help me get in shape?
You need to eat up to 5 carb portions 2-3 dairy portions 2-3 protein at least 5 fruit n veg portions and upto 3 fat/sugar portions per day this would be a healthy balanced diet. 1 slice of bread is a carb portion. 125ml milk is a dairy portion a medium sized apple or small banana is a fruit/ veg portion. Meat roughly the size of the palm of your hand is a protein portion and 2 teaspoons of sugar is a sugar/fat portion.When eating try low fat dairy. complex carbs such as brown bread brown pasta n brown rice are healthier. get lean meat or oily fish. before a workout bananas are a great source of potassium which helps you feel more energetic. hope this helps
